The Deluxe and Royal Deluxe NT® Virtual Servers comes standard with unlimited email accounts, and Standard NT Virtual Server comes with 3 POP accounts, but you have the ability to purchase additional POP accounts if you need them. To order additional POP accounts, please email support
Additional Server Storage Space
Extra server storage space must be purchased in blocks of 20 MB. You can request extra space when you place your order, or you can add or remove extra space at any time. Simply send your request to support.
SSL Encryption allows you to capture sensitive information, such as credit cards, via a secure connection with a users browser. Using encryption with your commerce-based Web site will give your customers a sense of confidence about sending their personal and credit card information over the Internet.
For all NT products, you are welcome to obtain your own SSL certificate and we will install it on your server. Send it to us and we'll install it on your server.
One of the most exciting features of the Deluxe NT and Royal Deluxe NT Virtual Servers is Virtual Hosting. This allows you to place multiple domain names on your Virtual Server and have them mapped to a directory on your virtual server. Virtual Hosting allows you to partition pieces of your Virtual Server to sell to your smaller clients who are not yet ready for a fully-functional Virtual Server. The Virtual Server system also allows you to use canonical domains (often called subdomains) with your server. If you wish to have additional c-names for your server, such as sales.yourdomain.com or whatever.yourdomain.com, our DNS staff can help you with that. C-names can be used as part of Virtual Hosting.
It's easy to upgrade your Virtual Server to other virtual servers at no extra cost. All you need to do is send an email to our Customer Service staff and let them know that you'd like to upgrade your server and what type of server you want to upgrade to. Within 1-2 days, your request will be handled and your server will be upgraded.
To downgrade your Virtual Server account to a lesser package, send an email to our Customer Service staff and let them know that you'd like to downgrade your server and what type of server you want to downgrade to. Within 1-2 days, your request will be handled and your server will be downgraded.
In order to access Cold Fusion, we will need to set you up on a server especially formatted for Cold Fusion. So if you think you are going to be using it in the future, please make sure to sign up for a Cold Fusion enabled server when ordering your server so that you will not have to go through the process of moving servers in the future and paying additional service fees. There is a $20 additional monthly charge for Cold Fusion. Please contact a Sales Representative for help ordering Cold Fusion for your NT server.
In order for a site to be able to use ASP in conjunction with a database, extensions for the database must be installed on your NT server so that they can interact properly. These can be installed upon request.
