NT® Merchant Server
The NT® Merchant Server is the perfect choice for companies looking to establish an online storefront. With this service, your Web site can process secure credit card transactions, operate databases, create catalogs, and much more. The powerful storefront creation tool, Miva Merchant, comes pre-installed on the NT® Merchant Server - a savings of $495!
IMPORTANT NOTE!The NT merchant server solution is really a hybrid nt-unix merchant server solution in that your web pages and databases and scripts run in the Windows® NT® environment but that your telnet access and mail server accounts run in a unix environment. This enables your web pages to take advantage of the windows functions like active server pages and visual basic scripting and the unix server to continue to handle the mail accounts and some admistrative functions.Still not sure which to use? Remember NT® based virtual servers have a higher system overhead than Unix based virtual servers. For a complete side-by-side comparison of the NT® Virtual Servers see our NT® Virtual Server Comparison Page. For a complete side-by-side comparison of the Unix Virtual Servers see our Unix Virtual Server Comparison Page. Still not sure which to use?Submit your requirements and/or what you want to try and accomplish and we'll give you a recommendation. See Our New NT® Virtual Server FAQ Page. |
