Using iRoot: vpasswd Wizard

The vpasswd Wizard is a web interface to the command line program "vpasswd". The vpasswd Wizard is no different than its command line counterpart. The wizard will prompt you for a new Email/FTP Password. Upon confirmation, the password for the selected POP account is changed and the modifications are stored in your Virtual Server's "~/etc/passwd" file.

Please select the Email/FTP User Name.

  • Email/FTP Username:

vpasswd Wizard - Password

Enter a new password for this user's Email/FTP account. For security reasons you may want to use a password that is longer than 6 characters and that has at least one non alphabetic character and/or unusual capitalization.

Select the "Change Password" button to confirm the password change for the user, "biff".
